Dear Meander members,

It has been very quiet for a while… but the Foreign Excursion Committee wants to proudly announce their BIG EXCURSION! The BEC is organizing a spring-trip to Dublin, main capital of Ireland. It is the city of pubs and Guinness of course, but also has a rich culture and history. St. Patrick, the Book of Kells, lots of castles, or writers like Yeats, James Joyce and Oscar Wilde, for example. There are many interesting places to visit, like the Old Library of Trinity College, the National Gallery of Ireland, the Hugh Lane Gallery for Modern and Contemporary Art and the Casino at Marino. Bonus points; many museums have free entry!

This excursion will take place from Friday 17th of May to Monday 20th of May. The costs will be approximately €170,-. The costs are estimated and the final costs may differ slightly from this estimation. It is possible to pay in multiple payments.

Do you want to drink a Guinness and sniff some Irish culture with us? The application for this excursion has opened right now, and will end on Sunday the 24th of February at midnight.* There will be place for a maximum of 20 people, so hurry and send your application to meanderbec@gmail.com. We would like to ask to give us already your name as is on your ID/passport, birth date, expiring date of your ID/passport, email address and phone number. Only then can we book the flight tickets as soon as possible! Keep in mind: once you have applied you cannot cancel anymore after the deadline of the 24th!

We’ll keep you updated, and you can always email us for questions!

Love, the BEC

* Since this excursion is heavily depending on the reservation of flight tickets, we cannot give you any exact times yet, nor can we guarantee the flight tickets until the booking has been done
